Nuclear Medicine Camera Installation: UCSF Medical Center
San Francisco, California
The radiology department at UCSF Medical Center Long Hospital replaced existing equipment with a General Electric Discovery NM/CT 670, a combination nuclear medicine camera and CT scanner. The project required extensive coordination with GE engineers during the design process due to the multi-faceted requirements and strict tolerances of this hybrid imaging platform. As with many projects that encounter complexity during construction, Taylor was able to keep the project moving forward by organizing the many elements required to provide quick responses to requests for information and submittals, and gain quick agency approval from OSHPD.
