San Francisco, Calif. (May 3, 2019) —Taylor Design, an employee-owned architectural, interior design and design strategy firm, is pleased to announce that Stephanie L’Estrange has been named Interior Design Practice Leader. In addition, she has been named a Senior Associate of the firm.

As interior design practice leader, L’Estrange will apply her critical thinking, a passion for strategy and a craftsman’s eye – hallmarks of her approach to design. She relishes the challenges of analyzing a project from differing viewpoints to demand the best solutions. With more than two decades of experience, her prior work with clients such as Intuit, Salesforce, Wells Fargo and Accenture enabled her to focus on the intersection of culture and brand.

“Stephanie brings visionary and creative leadership to Taylor Design,” said Kevin Hinrichs, principal and San Francisco office leader, Taylor Design. “Her deep understanding of the design profession as a whole has helped to elevate our standards of design excellence.”

L’Estrange joined Taylor Design in 2018 as Regional Interior Design Director and has led teams on a range of successful healthcare, higher education, and science & technology projects. Recent projects include work for San Mateo Health System, Sonoma Valley Hospital, Kaiser Permanente, Stanford ValleyCare, and Stanford HealthCare.

“We are pleased with the contributions Stephanie has made to Taylor Design in such a short period of time,” said D. Randy Regier, president, Taylor Design. “Her exceptional design, client service, and leadership skills bring great benefits to our work and our clients.”

L’Estrange holds a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture from University of San Francisco. She is a member of IIDA and active in the Bay Area design community. Prior to joining Taylor Design, L’Estrange was Senior Design Manager with Gensler’s Global Accounts and Professional Services teams focused on national and international markets, and she served as Interiors Director with FME Architecture + Design (now FORGE) where she managed a team of designers and architects on varied Bay Area commercial interior projects.
